Why do so many Americans not understand the Constitution?
I’m not going to share with you whether I’m for or against abortion or somewhere in the middle, because it doesn’t matter. Nor does it matter if you are for or against abortion or somewhere in the middle.
Instead I want to talk about dealing with the way things are, and not the way some people wish them to be.
Didn’t we all study Civics and the Constitution in middle and high school?
With this past week’s ruling on Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court ruled that the Federal government has no authority over women’s bodies.
Read that again.
Whether you’re on the Left or the Right of politics isn’t it good to know that the Supreme Court of the USA has ruled that neither the SCOTUS nor the Federal government should determine your abortion rights?
Yet many Leftist women and men are running around the country acting as if they WANT the Federal government to make this bodily decision for them — but only if they agree with their position.
Be careful with placing your bodily control in the hands of some faraway, unelected committee. The mistake they’re making is using government coercion to force their views on society in the first place.
