The total disconnect on the Left of American politics

Have you ever heard something on the TV and then yelled at the TV “well yeah, of course!”
I don’t know if Donald Trump will run for President again in 2024 or not. But it is clear that the Leftist politicians and media are doing everything they can to position Trump as a dangerous man to society at large.
From the laughably one-sided January 6th hearings, to a full-on coordinated plan, down to the exact English used across media channels attempting to paint Trump as the biggest threat to “our Democracy” ever.
If it wasn’t so pathetic it would be comedy gold.
But there is a massive disconnect between how the Left is desperately trying to paint a picture of a “dangerous” Trump and the reality of how millions of Americans actually see things.
Axios did a piece called “A radical plan for Trump’s second term” and CNN followed up on this with a short interview with a hack called George Conway, where the tone of the conversation was their total assumption that they are on the higher ground, morally correct, and clearly obvious to any rational viewer in their thinking. LOL.
The host said that “Trumpworld is already planning what a new administration might look like”, not only installing Trump loyalists by the thousands but also purging the government of all sorts of federal employees.”
Then he said Trump will “go after the national security apparatus, clean house in the intelligence community and the State Department and target the woke generals at the Defense department, and remove the top layers at the Justice department and the FBI.”
Know-nothing Leftists hear that kind of language and feign outrage.
But sane people who hear that language, given everything we know about these institutions and many of the people in those institutions, hear that language and say “hell yeah!”
