Why spreading the wealth doesn’t work.
There is a perpetual push by Socialists, Communists, and Leftists who infiltrate so many governments around the world that this subject has to be addressed.
Wealthy people generally have some form of passive income in their lives such as a brick & mortar they can operate while away from it, an online business, real estate, and equities. None of this comes without risk. They risked something to get going. Many failed over and over before finding success around the active or passive income which led to their wealth.
Today it seems the young among us (and frankly some of the older folks as well) think the idea of “spreading the wealth” or “sharing the wealth” is a noble and virtuous goal.
On the surface I can understand why they think this is a good idea. It sounds nice, and it would be nice if there was no hunger, poverty, or a huge wealth gap between the very rich and the very poor.
But what the ‘spread the wealth” crowd is advocating is stealing.
It is theft.
They package stealing from the producers and “redistributing” some of that wealth to the non-producers (or the low producers) as a “progressive” and common sense policy.
