It’s not their role to police free speech. Who died and made these people the “fact checkers” of humanity? They themselves proclaim to be independent and hide behind this position of “they can’t control what people say” on their platforms, only then to inject themselves into the public conversation with their “fact checks”. These platforms are either quiet with one set of rules or editorialists with a different set of rules. They want it both ways. Their view of the “facts” is not everybody’s view of the facts.
